My name is Jesse Huseth

I am running to be the State Representative for Tennessee House District 97.

Who am I?

I’m a life-long Memphian. I was born here. I went to school here, all the way from pre-school through the University of Memphis. I work here. I started my business here. I met my wife here, and we are raising our two beautiful daughters here. But the thing that brought me closest to the people and the city of Memphis was my time serving as a teacher here.

My years spent working for Shelby County Schools taught me what all of our students need and what all of their parents want for them—to grow up with the opportunities for success and happiness that we all deserve. If we want Tennessee to thrive, we must make sure everyone is thriving.

I’m dedicated to providing real solutions to real problems for my fellow citizens. Too often our politicians look for ways to divide us, instead of focusing on the real issues that we face, and the real solutions we should implement—many of which we actually agree on.

What can I bring to this office?

As this campaign continues, I will be in your neighborhood, bringing my message to the district, and asking for your opinions on what our government ought to be doing. I invite you to share your thoughts with me, either in person, by email (jesse@jessefor97.com), or on my personal phone, 901-501-6534. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I’m ready to fight for real reform and real progress, and I invite you to join me in that fight!
